Springfield Animal Hospital offers boarding for dogs and cats so that you can leave your pet in total comfort at our full service kennel. Our boarding facility features over 100 kennels for dogs and a separate cat ward for the comfort of our feline friends. (There is a separate isolation ward for sick patients.)

Boarding Requirements

Dog Boarding Guests must be current on the following:

  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Distemper (Distemper-Hepatitis-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus) Vaccine
  • Bordetella Vaccine (every 6 months)
  • Fecal Test for intestinal parasites (every 6 months)
  • Monthly flea prevention

Cat Boarding Guests must be current on the following:

  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Distemper (Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Chlamydia Psittaci, Panleukopenia) Vaccine
  • Fecal Test (every 6 months for outdoor cats, once a year for indoor only cats)
  • Monthly flea prevention

All pets must be free from internal and external parasites
