Brianna Ingold — Receptionist
Brianna has moved frequently in her life because of her family’s military background. She was born in Charlottesville, VA and moved to Berlin, Germany before she came back to the United States in 1993. She has been living in Northern Virginia since her return from Germany.
Brianna joined the Springfield Animal Hospital family in May 2015 and has enjoyed seeing owners leaving our hospital overjoyed with the care their pets have received. She has studied general academics at Northern Virginia Community College, and has been working in the healthcare industry for the past four years.
Fatima Valverde — Receptionist
Fatima was born in Washington, DC, and has lived in Northern Virginia ever since. She joined the Springfield Animal Hospital family as a kennel attendant in December 2014. Although she enjoyed taking care of our boarding guests, she transferred to reception in January 2015. Fatima enjoys learning new things about veterinary medicine every day. She has met her required prerequisites for the veterinary technology program at Northern Virginia Community College and hopes to join the program in the Fall of 2016.
In her free time, Fatima enjoys hiking, running, listening to music, and is a Netflix aficionado.
Daniela Morales — Veterinary Assistant
Daniela was born in Bolivia and moved to Virginia when she was three years old. She joined the Springfield Animal Hospital family as a veterinary assistant in September 2014 and has enjoyed helping animals in every possible way while interacting with their owners. She has an Associate degree in General Science and is pursuing a Nurse Practitioner’s degree.
Daniela and her longtime boyfriend experienced the excitement of their first-born son, Jorge, in August 2015. They have fallen in love with his expressive personality and sweet face ever since. Daniela and her family have six pets that they share love and affection for — Max, Boomer, Priscilla, Jaime, Brannie, and Sallie. In her free time, she loves watching her son explore and watch the world around him when she isn't getting fit and healthy at the gym or shopping the latest fashion.
Kathy Reader — Veterinary Assistant
Kathy joined the Springfield Animal Hospital team in August of 1995 as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys working with feline rescue groups and finding good homes for homeless animals. Kathy enjoys spending time with (and spoiling) her cats and her loveable dog, Dolce.
Lesly Molina — Veterinary Assistant
Lesly was born and raised in Fairfax, VA. She is currently in training to be a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC). Lesly first found her passion in practicing veterinary medicine when she was working with the veterinary staff at the National Zoo. Shortly after that internship, Lesly joined the staff at Springfield Animal Hospital in March 2014. She started her LVT courses in August 2015 and has continued working with and forming bonds with our four-legged patients and our wonderful clients in her time away from class.
Lesly is active in events sponsored by NVCC, such as the Annual Dog Wash, and the Vet Tech Club. She has a Yorkie-poo named Peanut, a blue-eyed and white-coated Pomsky name Ghost, and an Angora-Holland Lop mix bunny named Norman. Lesly's animals follow her around like a shadow and keep her company while she works hard in school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, baking, and running with her dogs.
Billy Wallace — Kennel Attendant
Billy was born and raised in Springfield, VA. He joined the Springfield Animal Hospital family in May 2015 as a kennel attendant. He enjoys playing with and taking great care of our boarding guests. Billy has an IB degree from high school and is in his first year of college at George Mason University.
Billy has three dogs: Charlie and Bailey, who are both Chihuahuas, and Scooter, a Golden Retriever. In his free time, he volunteers at Greenspring Retirement Home, and enjoys playing soccer and video games. Billy hopes to turn his love for animals into a career by becoming a veterinarian one day.
Mimi Nguyen — Kennel Attendant
Mimi is an energetic and caring kennel attendant that joined the Springfield Animal Hospital family in November 2015. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Northern Virginia. Mimi loves giving every individual animal the attention and love they deserve while they are away from their home; she makes sure SAH is a "home away from home" for our patients. She intends to become a licensed veterinary technician and is currently studying veterinary technology to achieve her goals.
