Our team of veterinary professionals is dedicated to delivering the best customer service and compassionate care to you and your pets.

Veterinary Practice Manager CarlaCarla joined Springfield Animal Hospital in 2001. She worked in client service for the first 12 years of her career with us, becoming the Reception Manager in 2005 and graduating to Hospital Manager in 2013. She is pursuing a Human Resources Management degree. She is an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Management Association (VHMA) with the ultimate goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).

Carla embraces the opportunity to learn and grow each and every day in a field that she truly adores. She loves every patient that visits the hospital, but the staff knows not to let a puppy or kitten come and go without visiting her in the office. In her free time, Carla loves spending time with her family and three kitties, running, hiking, traveling, reading and baking to satisfy her sweet tooth.

Veterinary Assistant Lesly with DogLesly was born and raised in Fairfax, VA. She is currently in training to be a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC). Lesly first found her passion in practicing veterinary medicine when she was working with the veterinary staff at the National Zoo. Shortly after that internship, Lesly joined the staff at Springfield Animal Hospital in March 2014. She started her LVT courses in August 2015 and has continued working with and forming bonds with our four-legged patients and our wonderful clients in her time away from class.

Lesly is active in events sponsored by NVCC, such as the Annual Dog Wash, and the Vet Tech Club. She has a Yorkie-poo named Peanut, a blue-eyed and white-coated Pomsky name Ghost, and an Angora-Holland Lop mix bunny named Norman. Lesly's animals follow her around like a shadow and keep her company while she works hard in school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, baking, and running with her dogs.

Kathy joined the Springfield Animal Hospital team in August of 1995 as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys working with feline rescue groups and finding good homes for homeless animals. Kathy enjoys spending time with (and spoiling) her cats and her loveable dog, Dolce.
